Description
Richie Blackmore’s signature model is now in stock in used condition!
The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood with a scalloped finish.
The scalloped finish starts at the 4th and 5th frets, with a gradual scalloping on the 6th and 4th strings and a deeper scalloping on the 3rd and 1st strings, and it gradually becomes more pronounced as you move to the high position.
The neck shape is a U-shape, and a breaded truss rod is used.
The front and rear PUs are Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Flat SSL-4.
The bridge PU is equipped with a reverse-wound, reverse-pole PU, which provides a hum canceling effect when the front and rear PUs are mixed.
A dummy PU is mounted in the center. The style of Blackmore is followed.
Flush Mounted Dunlop(R) Straplocks” are mounted on the strap pins.
The neck plate is equipped with “3-Bolt “F” Stamped with Micro-Tilt(TM)”, faithfully reproducing the early 70’s Fender style.
Overall, the guitar shows some dirt and signs of use, but there are no noticeable dents or scratches.
The metal parts are in relatively good condition, with some tarnishing and minor rusting.
The paint on the body neck pocket is floating, but it is not cracked and does not affect the playing.
The remaining fret height is about 1.0mm to 1.1mm. The neck is in good condition, and there is no sound jamming, chattering, or other problems with playing.
The truss rod has been checked to 90 degrees counterclockwise and 60 degrees clockwise, and it feels tight.
The operation has no problem in playing, and it is one of the ready-to-play guitars in good condition!
