Description
Martin D-35, made in 2016 before specification changes.
Created in 1965, the dreadnought D-35 features a “3-piece back” with three separate pieces of backwood, solid spruce top, rosewood sides and back, bound neck, unvoluted head, ebony fingerboard and bridge, 648mm (25.5″) scale /406mm (16″)R/about 43.40mm nut, Grover pegs.
The sound is not too heavy, and the tone is quite light for a rosewood model, ideal for chord strokes and fingerpicking.
It shows some signs of use (scratches, playing scuffs, fogging of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).
The binding has been removed, the saddle has been adjusted, cleaned, the strings have been replaced, the rod has been adjusted and deburred, the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod can be adjusted to 60.
* The binding has been re-glued and is currently in good condition, but there are some bumps and unevenness in the paint film.
