This Buddy Guy Standard Stratocaster Polka Dot from Fender (Made in Mexico), 2010, features Buddy Guy’s signature bold polka dot finish.
It has an alder body, soft V-shaped maple neck, Standard Single-Coilx3 PU, 5-way selector, and vintage-style tremolo.
This model has the impactful looks and versatile sound of a favorite of blues heavyweights.
The strap pin has been changed to a shearling type (no hardware on the strap side), and there are signs of use (color fading, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, fogging and bits on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).
The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment, burr removal, gouge removal, nut groove correction) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen up to 60 degrees.
