Description
Still highly popular American Vintage Series 52 Telecaster is now in stock.
This model faithfully reproduces the specifications of the early 50’s with a center bookmatched ash body, 1-ply black guard, one-piece maple neck with spaghetti logo, triple brass bridge saddle, and all screws are flat head screws.
This model is the origin of the Telecaster, which continues to this day.
This model has the original wiring from 52, and the 3-way pickup selector is from the bridge side, rear/front/front tone zero, and the neck side position produces a very muddy sound.
The neck date is 94, but the serial number and pot date are 95, so we have determined that it was made in 1995.
There are paint reaction marks on the body end from a guitar stand, and the lacquer paint is heavily melted.
There are also some minor scratches and dings scattered throughout, and the metal parts are tarnished.
Although the guitar has some signs of use commensurate with its age, it has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
