Description
TheHercules Monitor 5is a loudspeaker designed for neophytes in the realm of mixing and sold as a pair, so you may work in stereo. Using two of these speakers, you can learn how to mix, confident that the audio you’re hearing as you work is accurate.
The monitor employs a 5″ Kevlar cone woofer, a 1″ silk dome tweeter, and a precise frequency response between 50 Hz and 20 kHz. Its front-firing bass reflex ports help with the low-end response. The monitor is bi amped at 80W.
You’ll find tone controls on the back of the monitor, which help it fit in with various environments. You can mount this monitor near the wall and cut bass to account for wall-proximity effect, or you can leave these flat and freestanding in your room.
On the rear of the speaker, you’ll find both balanced and unbalanced connections. Balanced connections can be made through 1/4″ TRS and XLR jacks. An unbalanced RCA jack is perfect for interfacing with consumer-grade gear. A power cable is included with your purchase.
