Description
Japan Vintage, JB model made by Matsumoku is now in stock.
This is a replica JB model made by Greco, a long-established Japanese guitar/bass brand, and made in 1976 according to the serial number.
The body is made of Sen, which is often used as a substitute for Ash in Japanese models, and the wood specs of maple neck/fingerboard, black binding and block position marks are impressive.
Due to the disconnection of the rear pickup, it has been replaced with Duncan stk-j1b (original pickup is included).
The bridge cover with Greco “G” embossed is equipped, but the pickup fence is missing.
Each pot is made by ALPHA, so it is assumed that they have been replaced in recent years.
There are some scratches, dents, and dulling of metal parts, but there is no major damage that stands out.
The frets are low and the truss rod has little room to tighten, but there are no problems with playing the instrument as it is now.
The fretboard is low and the truss rod has little room to tighten, but there are no problems with playability.
