The TB-2W Tone Bender is the result of a joint development between BOSS and Sola Sound.
Using the #500 Tone Bender MkII, considered a masterpiece among the archives owned by Sola Sound, as a reference, BOSS engineers’ skillful design techniques have perfectly reproduced its magical sound with rich expression and dynamic response.
The engineers carefully tested each one, carefully selecting germanium transistors and incorporating them into a sophisticated circuit to achieve a stable and individualized sound.
Tone and response can be adjusted by switching the 3-way drive voltage, and true/buffered bypass can also be selected.
The TB-2W is a limited-quantity production model of the MADE IN JAPAN “GIGI WAZA CRAFT” series that has been carefully crafted down to the smallest detail.
There are some signs of use such as scratches and dirt, but there are no operational problems.
